We Are Your Key to Clean

 

 

Unless you've had ongoing cleaning or are a meticulous housekeeper, we suggest starting with a deep clean for your first appointment. Deep cleaning takes more time but yields noticeable results. You can add extras from our Options Menu. For ongoing cleaning, we'll follow our standard checklist, with the option to request a deep clean or extras at an additional charge. Move-in and move-out cleanings align with our deep clean tasks, minus furniture-related ones. If our tasks don't fit, let us know, and we'll customize them for you.

What We Won't Do

 

 

  • Move heavy furniture or lift heavy items (over 25 lbs)

  • Use ladders other than two step stepladders.

  • Clean outside windows unless they can be easily accessed from the inside (the kind that flips around).

  • Clean excessively moldy areas (requires a professional).

  • We love pets! But for the safety of our staff, we won’t enter homes with barking/aggressive dogs unless they are properly restrained (all sizes of dogs).

  • Use toxic chemicals you supply unless approved beforehand (we’re fine with using your non-toxic cleaners).

  • Ironing.

  • Clean plasma TV’s, computer screens, or equipment, except for dusting tops.

  • Clean human waste, pet waste, or cat litter – if you want us to clean the area soiled by your pet, you must remove any waste before we arrive.

 

 

 

For safety reasons, our cleaners are instructed not to move heavy items or lift more than 25 lbs. Please identify valuable, irreplaceable, or delicate decorations (or other items) you want us to avoid. We also advise our cleaners not to clean delicate or easily damaged items like crystal, antique collections, or paintings and artwork not protected by glass.

We are happy to launder, fold, or replace towels, sheets, and clothing upon request. You'll provide laundry equipment instructions and supply detergent. Delicate items won't be laundered or hand washed, and we're not responsible for wash-damaged clothing. While cleaning, we manage laundry, but completing the entire process (wash, dry, fold, or replace) might not be possible. If we go beyond the scheduled cleaning time, there's an additional charge at the hourly rate. You can direct us to prioritize laundry during cleaning. We aim to plan times and tasks upfront to minimize surprises.

Whole House

  • Vacuum carpets and rugs.

  • Dust tops of doors, picture rail molding and tops of baseboards.

  • Vacuum upholstery where needed and remove pet hair.

  • Clean light switches and doorknobs.

  • Remove cobwebs.

  • Clean mirrors.

  • Empty trash and recycling

  • Straighten and arrange.

  • Wash and clean baseboards.

  • Spot clean walls

  • Clean windows (Only Inside Cleaning)

  • Clean louvered doors and sliding door tracks.

  • Wipe down furniture.

  • Wash trash cans.

  • Vacuum/dust/clean blinds.

  • Vacuum/dust drapes.

  • Vacuum upholstery and under cushions.

  • Brush off lamp shades/wipe lamp bases

  • Detailed dusting of light fixtures

  • Dust fans, heat/ac vents.

 

Kitchen

  • Wipe down cabinets, countertops, cupboards, appliances.

  • Clean microwave exterior

  • Clean countertops and sinks

  • Wash dishes.

  • Clean sink, fixtures, drain.

  • Clean stove-top

  • Clean Microwave Interior

 

 

 

Bathroom

  • Clean toilet

  • Clean sink

  • Clean tub and shower, wash tile, clean glass enclosures

  • Clean fixtures and drains.

  • Wipe cabinet exteriors as needed.

  • Clean counters

  • Fold/hang towels

  • Wash soap dish

  • Remove mildew, soap scum and mineral deposits.

  • Scrub grout.

  • Wash trashcans.

  • Wash cabinet faces.

 

 

 

Bedroom

  • Make beds

Change linens if fresh linens are left on bed.

Once ongoing cleaning is scheduled, we'll maintain our standard cleaning list. You can ask for a deep clean or optional tasks anytime, with an extra charge based on our hourly rate. If our task lists don't suit your situation, notify us, and we'll customize them for you

MOVE OUT/ MOVE IN CLEAN

Move-in and move-out cleanings generally follow our deep clean task list, minus those tasks that don’t apply because furniture has been removed or hasn’t arrived yet. If you feel our task lists don’t apply to your specific situation, let us know and we’ll tailor them to your needs.
